I guess maybe the best place to start is at the end. There's been a lot of good stuff going on in the realm of the finales. Loved "The Big Bang Theory" and "Castle." I also enjoyed the "House" finale, though I wonder how much is going to change because of what went on. Then there was "Private Practice." Holy crap talk about a cliffhanger! Heck, I even enjoyed the "Lost" season finale last night and I'm not the biggest fan/viewer of the show (I haven't watched from the start so when I do try and watch I literally get lost).
What else? Well tonight we've got "Grey's Anatomy" which, from the previews, looks like it'll be pretty good. Plus, a bunch more of my favorites should be coming up on their finales soon, so things are really looking up.
Then there's summer TV. "Big Brother" and "Wipeout" should be starting again soon.
Ooo, and that Fox show "Glee" is premiereing next Tuesday. I don't know how good it will be but the ads have definitely piqued my interest.
Anyway, it's a good time for tv and a busy time for me.
I'm really going to work to keep updating this even if it's just to say that I'm still around. I'm going back to school so we'll see how that works out with all of this. I'm starting up classes again on Tuesday. It's only one class for a couple of months but by June it'll be two. It shouldn't be that bad for the summer but by the fall it's going to be a little bit more crazy. Nothing I can't handle however. Ultimately, we shall see.
Anyway ... if I keep going it's just going to be way off topic.
Cheers!

Terminator, Dollhouse, Numb3rs, House, 24, The Big Bang Theory ... what show to talk about? I guess it is, as they say, best to start at the beginning.
Terminator was great. I'd even go out on a limb and say it was the best episode of the season. I loved the Cameron/John interaction, seeing Weaver do her thing and the ending, oi! what an ending. Even though I loved the ending I really hope that it doesn't end up being the series finale. I'm not optimistic but I can always hope that it'll get picked up for another season. If not, it'd be nice to get a movie (a la Serenity) to tie up all the loose ends that are still floating around.
Dollhouse. One word: Strange. I'm not really sure what happened in that episode. I liked the way it was edited together, but it was just strange. Though, such is the nature of this particular show. On another note, I've been reading about the so-called 13th episode. It's definitely an odd situation. Though, I've read that it doesn't mean the show will be canned. We shall see, I guess.
Numb3rs: Yay it's back! To be honest I was just happy to finally get a new episode. I've been completely missing this show. I wasn't disappointed in the episode either. I thought it was well done. I love the way Numb3rs focuses on their characters. Sure, the cases are interesting and well thought out but the thing I really enjoy is that it always comes back to the characters. In that regard, this episode was stellar. I loved seeing the girls together at the end. I missed Colby in this episode, but I enjoyed seeing the evolution of Nikki's character here. I also love anytime that Larry gets into the mix and definitely wasn't disappointed here. All-in-all a classic episode of Numb3rs!
House ... Loved it! Wilson messing with House? What could be better? Classic House. Also loved the Cameron/Chase storyline and it's conclusion. Again, a show that focuses on it's characters instead of the cases/situations it puts them in. Great stuff.
I've never really had much to say about 24. It's definitely a good show, but I don't typically have much of a reaction either way. I think it's because I'm not as invested in the characters as I am with other shows. Last night's episode was good. Though, I was a little annoyed with the Almeida story, good, bad, good, bad ... make a choice!! With this show I'm just looking forward to Paul McGillion's apperance.
and finally ...
THE BIG BANG THEORY! I ablsolutely love this show. It never fails to make me laugh. Last night I wasn't having such a great night, but watching Big Bang actually made me feel a little better. I'm so in love with Sheldon. Actually, I think I'm even starting to ship Sheldon/Penny. I definitely need to start making some Big Bang icons. Last night was classic, I loved "Anything Can Happen Thursday," Penny in the comic book store and Shealdon's line "Look at that, that's a dent. Thank you Howard "ham-fisted" Wolowitz.." LOL, love it!
Tonight should also be a good night for television: American Idol, Fringe, and Law and Order: SVU. We've also got Southland, Heroes and Castle on our DVR. Actually, I've also got the first two episodes of Robin Hood and the last few of The L Word. So much tv, so little time.
Cheers!

I was going to post this on Sunday but didn't get the chance. So, I'm adding reviews of Prison Break & House from this week since I've seen both of those shows' new episodes. :)
Anyway, if you're reading this humble little list of reviews and happen to like/dislike the shows I've written about and/or you disagree/agree with my assessment, I'd more than love to hear from you! So feel free to leave as many comments as you'd like. :)
CAUTION: Beware of Spoilers for the latest episodes of Prison Break, Corner Gas, House, Law & Order: SVU, Criminal Minds, Private Practice, Bionic Woman, Grey's Anatomy, Numb3rs, and Stargate: Atlantis
Cheers!

I would highly recommend the entire album, but for a good sampling, songs like "Take Me There," "Bob That Head," "No Reins," and "Winner at a Losing Game" are among my quick favourites from the disc.

The other thing that's got me bouncing today is the return of everybody's favourite socially handicapped Doctor, Dr. Gregory House! I know exactly where I'm going to be at 9 tonight!!

I'm so excited that the fall television premiere week is almost upon us! Though it did start a little early with Prison Break (which I thought was great!). I can't decide what show/shows I'm more excited for, Corner Gas & Prison Break on Monday, House on Tuesday, Private Practice & Criminal Minds on Wednesday, Grey's Anatomy on Thrusday or Numb3rs & Stargate: Atlantis on Friday! There is so much good television to tune into this year. It's awesome!
Then, on top of that, there's a lot of great television that I've never had the chance to get into like I've wanted to. Heroes, Smallville & Lost topping that particular list. I was hoping to get caught up this summer and then never had the chance. Hopefully I'll be able to pick up on them sooner rather than later.
And of course, can't forget about some of the new programs that are coming out. Bionic Woman, for instance, starting on NBC on Wednesday looks like it might be pretty good. But when I look at Wednesday night television it's pretty booked up, and it's all on at 9. I couldn't get lucky and have them on at different times! Where's TiVo (or PVR) and time shifting when you need it?
Private Practice is one of the new shows that I've definitely decided I'm going to give a chance to and that I'm totally excited about. Addison was/is my favourite of the Grey's characters (followed closely by George and Callie). So, I'm totally going to be routing for Kate Walsh and her show to give us big things. Plus, the cast for the show looks amazing. I'm excited to see Paul Adelstein in a role completely different from the one he had in Prison Break. It should be good!
I don't want to forget about Pushing Daisies, either. I haven't heard a lot about the show, but from what I have seen it looks like it might be worth tuning into just to give it a try. *shrugs* I don't know.
Then, on top of all of that, there are the shows that don't start until later into the season: The Amazing Race & 24, in particular.
So much television, so little time!
