I just had to post to gush on a couple of topics.
First of all I have to say "Numb3rs" was soooo good tonight! Not really sure how I feel about it as a season finale, but that definitely doesn't diminish the quality of the episode. Sometimes I wish TPTB at "Numb3rs" would go a little bigger with the cliffhangers when it comes to their finales, though I think that's just based on what other series do and isn't necessarily a prerequisite for a good episode or even finale. It's just something I wish they did sometimes.
Anyway, I realize it everytime I watch the show, but what I really love about "Numb3rs" is the characters. Even though the show is really about Don and Charlie none of the other characters and their growth/stories are scarificed for the sake of them. All of the characters are so well written and it's definitely easy to see growth, in every character, throughout all of the seasons of the show. The interaction is so easy and it really does feel like one big family.
Tonight was no different. I loved seeing David pushing/proding Charlie, Larry stepping up to the "mathmatical" plate, Alan and Don being their for Charlie and David and Colby speculating on the motives of a few of the others. That's not even mentioning Amita. Wow. Then there's the end, as much as I love the episodes I always love the "wrap-ups" at the end of all of the episodes. Today's finale was no different. Very good stuff.
I could go on but I didn't mean for this to go on for too long. I'll just leave it by saying that it was definitely a great episode!
The other things I wanted to gush over was the fact that "Castle" and "Dollhouse" have been renewed!! I'm really surpirsed by "Dollhouse," but I'm not going to complain over it's renewel. The show has grown on me and I'm definitely going to tune in to see where they go with it. Should be good. Of course we all know how I feel about "Castle!" Woo hoo!
On another note: Interesting news coming out about "Scrubs" and a possible ninth season. Looks like ZB and SC are signed on for six "transitional" episodes. I'm a huge "Scrubs" fan and have been since the show started, so I'll be watching to see where this goes. It could end up being great or it could end up really bombing. Either way I'll definitely be watching.
Cheers!

So,"Grey's Anatomy" wraped up last nigt and I was definitely impressed. Even with all of the casting rumours flying around I was still shocked by the end. I'd figured things were going to go one way but it really worked going the other. It'll definitely be interesting to see what everything means when it comes to next season. Should be prettty interesting, if nothing else.
One of the reason I really like "Grey's" so much is because of all of the great character moments the show has, and last night definitely didn't disappoint. There were some wonderful moments like Arizona standing up to the Cheif, Cristina hugging Meredith or any of the Mark/Lexi scenes. I think, though, that my favorite moment was when Bailey took Torres and Swender to "see the joy." I absolutley loved that scene! Definitely some good stuff!
In other finale news ... "Prison Break" wraps up tonight. To be honest I can't believe it has lasted this long. Who thought a show about a guy going to prison to break his brother out of prison would've lasted this long?
That said, I'm glad it has. I'm definitely going to miss this show and I can't wait to see how it ends. With all the ups and downs and side switching that's gone on it's going to be crazy to see where everyone ends up. Either way it should be pulse-pounding goodness.
Speaking of "pulse-pounding goodness" "Numb3rs" is also on tonight! Woo hoo! After the end of the last episode I can't wait to see what's going to happen. Even though I love the show I've been disappointed by "Numb3rs" finales in the past but I'm hoping that the same thing doesn't happen tonight. The preview looks promising, so that's a plus. I'll be interested to see how they leave it tonight and what it means for everyone, epsecially Charlie/Amita. Hopefully it makes for as much drama and tension as some of the last few episodes have offered.
On another quick note, I'm also excited because while surfing around today I came acorss this: Fall TV cheat sheet
It's a quick "cheat sheet" that outlines the prospects of a bunch of the network shows and it's looking like my fall schedule wishes are coming true. Yay!
I'm totally excited that "Castle" has become a "safe bet" for renewel! I've completely fallen in love with this show. I started watching because of Nathan Fillion, but I continue to watch because of everything about the show. It's so well written, acted and directed. I completely love the dynamic between Castle/Beckett and Castle and his daughter. Oh, so good.
Anyway, no point in gushing on and on about the show, for now ... hehe.
Cheers!

I guess maybe the best place to start is at the end. There's been a lot of good stuff going on in the realm of the finales. Loved "The Big Bang Theory" and "Castle." I also enjoyed the "House" finale, though I wonder how much is going to change because of what went on. Then there was "Private Practice." Holy crap talk about a cliffhanger! Heck, I even enjoyed the "Lost" season finale last night and I'm not the biggest fan/viewer of the show (I haven't watched from the start so when I do try and watch I literally get lost).
What else? Well tonight we've got "Grey's Anatomy" which, from the previews, looks like it'll be pretty good. Plus, a bunch more of my favorites should be coming up on their finales soon, so things are really looking up.
Then there's summer TV. "Big Brother" and "Wipeout" should be starting again soon.
Ooo, and that Fox show "Glee" is premiereing next Tuesday. I don't know how good it will be but the ads have definitely piqued my interest.
Anyway, it's a good time for tv and a busy time for me.
I'm really going to work to keep updating this even if it's just to say that I'm still around. I'm going back to school so we'll see how that works out with all of this. I'm starting up classes again on Tuesday. It's only one class for a couple of months but by June it'll be two. It shouldn't be that bad for the summer but by the fall it's going to be a little bit more crazy. Nothing I can't handle however. Ultimately, we shall see.
Anyway ... if I keep going it's just going to be way off topic.
Cheers!

The one ABC show that I'm really wondering about is "Castle." I'm keeping my fingers crossed where this show is concerned for sure. Hopefully it's good news when the networks get around to announcing everything. We shall see.
It looks like "The Amazing Race" is going to get another season as well. That's exciting for me.
Can't wait to hear about the rest of the shows/networks. Especially NBC and Southland in particular. It'll be interesting to see what they're going to do.
Anyway, back to icon making for me.
Cheers!

Grey's and Private Practice tonight!! Woo hoo.
That's all I really had. It's been such a long time since they were airing new episodes so I'm really excited that the shows are back. The stories left off in a pretty good place so hopefully the episodes will pick up on that. Actually, I think the fangirl in me is just really excited to have a new helping of Kevin McKidd again. Gotta get my fix!
Shows have been really good lately, especially "Castle" (I'm totally in love with NF). Though, I haven't been overly inspired to write much about them. The watching is more fun anyway, isn't it?
Oh, speaking of shows does anyone (if there is anyone) who happens to be reading this watch the "Legend of the Seeker" or read the books it's based on? I started watching the show one Sunday when there was nothing else on tv and have since picked up the books. I'm completely hooked! Check it out if you're looking for something new.
On one more quick note, I'm working on some Big Bang Theory icons. They're coming along but I only have a couple and I'd rather post a bigger number when I do post. Plus I need to build up my userpics again and I think I'm going to do that with a couple of BBT icons.
So, yeah, that's all.
Cheers!

Given my track record the past couple of days, heck the past couple of years, I'm not sure that my praise is good for the show, but, what can I say? It's just an all around great show. I definitely look forward to it every week.
Nathan Fillion is perfect in the role and his chemistry with Katic is spot on. If I had anything to negitive to say, it'd be that it gets a little too campy/cheeky/silly funny somtimes. Though, I have to admit that they've definitely toned it down since the primiere, and I'm loving the way they're slowly pulling back the layers on Beckett's backstory. Very nicely done. Plus I absoutley love the relationship between Castle and his daughter, so sweet.
They've had 5 episodes and I'm already totally invested in the characters and story, so that's definitely a plus.
On the upside as well, the show is called "Castle" so what are the odds that my favorite character, Richard Castle, THE LEAD, is going to be killed off? For once in my life my favorite character isn't the underdog or the support characters, it's the lead character. It's kind of an enriching experience.
Grr. I don't have any Castle/Nathan Fillion icons. I guess I'm going to have to make some. Woo hoo!!
Oh, and as a side note: FRINGE is back tonight! Yay!!
And, one more side note: "the observer" from Fringe, sitting in the auidence of "Idol." How fun!
Cheers!

I'm optimistic about the show but I've looked at a couple of reviews and they're not as optimistic as I. Only time will tell, I guess.
There are a couple of other shows premiering in March that I'm also looking forward to: Castle & Kings. By the look of the previews they could each go either way (great or horrible), but as with Dollhouse I'm hoping for the best.
It's interesting the connections going on though. You've got Summer Glau in Terminator airing before Dollhouse whose creator is Joss Whedon and star is Eliza Dushku. Then with Castle you've got Natha Fillion staring. Interesting.
Anyhoo ...
Cheers!
