Got a little bored, so I thought I'd make up a quick list of my current top 10 favourite meida stuffs.
1. Royal Pains - my brother told me I should give this show a chance and as it turns out I'm glad that I listened to him. Definitely a great show. Should be on the a bunch of must watch lists!
2. "Water for Elephants" - I'm almost finished this book and it's quickly becoming one of my favorites. The story moves incredibly quickly and is filled with a lot of emotion. If you get the chance ... read it!
3. Cake Boss - New-ish on TLC and a lot of fun to watch. It's amazing the cakes they are able to pull off, plus you get to learn a little bit about cake making while you're watching. Mouth-watering, eye catching brillance!
4. Daughtry - "Leave This Town" - Daughtry's second album. Great stuff. Hasn't left the player of my car since I popped it in back on the day it came out. My favourites tracks are 4 "Life After You" and 12 "Call Your Name."
5. The Tonight Show w/ Conan O'Brien - Decided to watch Conan's first episode just to see how he did and haven't stopped watching since. He's got a lot of great bits, but I think the best segment he does it the "Twitter Tracker"
6. True Blood - Haven't been able to watch the second season yet, but absolutely loved the first. Took us just a couple of days to watch, was hooked after the first five minutes. Can't wait to get a chance to see Season 2. Gotta get the books the series is based on soon too. Wonder what they're like?
7. The Sword of Truth/Legend of the Seeker - Love the books and the TV show. Not really sure which I like more, probably the books, though that's normal for me. The cast of the show is great, but the books have a lot more in them.
8. Wii Sports Resort - Just got the this game a little over a week ago. It's a lot of fun with lots of new skills and games to try. Archery and Frisbee golf are great. The classics like bowling are even better here. Awesome game! Love the motion-plus stuff.
9. Watchmen on Blu-ray - We just recently got this and watched it again for the weeked. Saw it in theatres and loved it, watched it the other night and loved it even more. One of those movies where there is something to catch on multiple passes through the movie. Only thing I might say against is that it's kinda long.
10. Big Brother 11 - Loving the current season. Wasn't sure about the "cliques" at the beginning but they turned out to be pretty interesting. Can't wait to see who gets the new power. Good stuff!
Well, there it is. There are a bunch of things that didn't make this list so I may have to come back later and write up another. For now, that's that.
Cheers!

There's a lot going on and I really don't know where to start or what to talk about.
I guess maybe the best place to start is at the end. There's been a lot of good stuff going on in the realm of the finales. Loved "The Big Bang Theory" and "Castle." I also enjoyed the "House" finale, though I wonder how much is going to change because of what went on. Then there was "Private Practice." Holy crap talk about a cliffhanger! Heck, I even enjoyed the "Lost" season finale last night and I'm not the biggest fan/viewer of the show (I haven't watched from the start so when I do try and watch I literally get lost).
What else? Well tonight we've got "Grey's Anatomy" which, from the previews, looks like it'll be pretty good. Plus, a bunch more of my favorites should be coming up on their finales soon, so things are really looking up.
Then there's summer TV. "Big Brother" and "Wipeout" should be starting again soon.
Ooo, and that Fox show "Glee" is premiereing next Tuesday. I don't know how good it will be but the ads have definitely piqued my interest.
Anyway, it's a good time for tv and a busy time for me.
I'm really going to work to keep updating this even if it's just to say that I'm still around. I'm going back to school so we'll see how that works out with all of this. I'm starting up classes again on Tuesday. It's only one class for a couple of months but by June it'll be two. It shouldn't be that bad for the summer but by the fall it's going to be a little bit more crazy. Nothing I can't handle however. Ultimately, we shall see.
Anyway ... if I keep going it's just going to be way off topic.
Cheers!

So, The Mole was pretty good last night. I'm excited to see how the rest of the season plays out. They've left a lot of things in that I wasn't sure they would and they've updated just enough to take it up a level. It's still The Mole, but revamped. Very good stuff, and I've already got my favorites and those I love to hate. :D It's going to be a great season!
It's definitely going to be a great summer of television viewing! With both Atlantis and Big Brother starting in July (within a few days of each other) things are looking good.
Woo hooo!
Speaking of summer television ... I'm so excited for Atlantis. I've decided (for the first couple of episodes, at least) that I'm going to try my very best to stay completely spoiler free. It's crazy tough, but I'm doing it. I may end up giving in and reading up on everything after the first couple of episodes, but so far I know next to nothing about what's coming up. It's strange, especially after the way I fed on spoilers last year. Eeeek, I can't wait. Here's to hoping I don't break and look at the spoilers.
Cheers!

I'm feeling kind of silly tonight, not sure why. Oh well, no need to analyze the silly moments. Probably better just to run with them! Woo hoo.
It's funny though, currently my favourite song is one I heard while watching season one of "The L Word" (a show I'm rather surprised to find myself embracing) and isn't one that I would associate with being silly at all. The song is a remake for the old Leonard Cohen hit "Hallelujah." This version is by Rufus Wainwright and I'm totally obsessed with it. So good. I didn't know this when I first heard it, but, the song is also on the soundtrack for Shrek (the original film).
There are so many different remakes of the song. I also have a really great one by Allison Crowe. I really want to get a hold of the ones by Gavin DeGraw and Sheryl Crow ... I think they're both live performance that they did at some event. I'm not sure though. *shrugs*
Speaking of things I've been getting into lately, does anyone on my f-list watch Big Brother? My mom and I watched a couple of seasons ago and then missed the next couple of installments. We're really getting back into this season. I'm enjoying it! It's so silly (among other things) but it's rather addicting ... ahhh. So much so that I might have to go over to CBS.com and register just to chat on the BB forums. We'll see ... Though they did just out my favourite so I'm not overly happy with things right now.
Actually, another quick question, does anyone who might happen to be reading this watch the HBO show Rome? I've been thinking about checking it out. I think it's already over but I don't think I'd mind checking it out anyway. I was just wondering if anyone had some thoughts on the show.
Well, back to the original point of this post, a quote. This one made me laugh out loud:
"No man is exempt from saying silly things; the mischief is to say them deliberately." - Michel de Montaigne
